Some Thoughts
I believe I have made some progress on design for the lamp. There will be a center piece, 1 cube, containing the Arduino and M5451s with a pair of LEDs. Then there will be two three cube side lamps each containing three pairs of LEDs and two pairs of wall washing LEDs. This brings the total to 11 pairs of LEDs which is right in line with the M5451 design. I am trying to figure out if I want to drop the number of M5451s down to one and just run the LEDs in serial. This would minimize the amount of effects that could be done, such as plasma, but would simplify the wiring. I am also trying to figure out if I can do PCB or if I should just attempt to board this out some other way. I believe I am to the stage where I need to get some help.
I am also trying to decide upon other sensory inputs. I think it would be cool to have a mic input and there is a great break out board from sparkfun.com. But I am not sure.
